Represented the E2 Nightclub following an infamous tragedy wherein 21 people were killed and numerous people were injured after tear gas was sprayed inside the club. Successfully resolved the case for the nightclub, owner, and manager for significantly less than policy limits.
Successfully defended a nightclub accused of causing the death of a patron by not providing emergency medical services in sufficient time. Plaintiffs asked jury for $3.5 million and verdict was entered in favor of defendant.
Successfully defended trucking company against $3.5 million demand to jury for allegedly causing defect on property that lead to plaintiff’s fall and hip fracture. Plaintiff alleged he could never work again. Jury found in favor of trucking company despite evidence that trucking company did, in fact, cause the damage to the property on which the plaintiff fell.
Successfully defended a local University alleged to be responsible for plaintiff’s cervical fracture incurred when plaintiff fell down 13 concrete steps. The case was tried to a jury which found in favor of the University.
Successfully defended a security company against claims of assault, battery and wrongful imprisonment arising from arrest of potential shoplifters. The plaintiffs alleged a security guard beat and pistol-whipped them and had them arrested for no reason. Jury found in favor of the security company, despite being asked for over $1 million dollars in punitive damages by plaintiffs.
Settled a suit filed by a plaintiff who was rendered a quadriplegic in a motor vehicle accident for half of the $1 million policy limits.
