Legal Experience: Mr. LaPorte has tried over one hundred personal injury cases. His practice has included a wide variety of civil litigation matters over the years. He is experienced in construction litigation, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, Dram shop, intentional tort litigation. He also has considerable experience in underinsured/uninsured motorist arbitration and insurance coverage matters.

Mr. LaPorte is a chair qualified Cook County Mandatory Arbitration arbitrator. He has served as arbitrator and arbitrated hundreds of matters in various arbitration forums such as three-man, AAA, mandatory arbitration and mediation. Mr. LaPorte has over twelve years of experience with the Cook County, DuPage County, Will County, Lake County and surrounding areas courthouses and judges.

Professional Memberships:Mr. LaPorte is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, DuPage County Bar, and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has been involved in a wide variety of panels and seminars during his career.

Education:Mr. LaPorte received his Juris Doctor in 1995 from the Chicago Kent College of Law where he was active in student government and received numerous certifications and distinctions.

Admitted to Practice: Mr. LaPorte is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
