C. William Busse, Sr.C. William Busse is the founder of Busse & Busse, P.C. He has achieved the highest rating “AV” from his peers, as published by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He has more than 50 years of legal experience, handling civil jury trials and arbitrations.Legal Experience: Mr. Busse has defended hundreds of personal injury liability cases, as well as fire, inland marine admiralty, and property damage claims. He has obtained scores of jury verdicts in both state and federal courts. Mr. Busse is a chair-qualified Certified Arbitrator for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program, and has extensive experience in various forms of alternative dispute resolution and arbitration. Professional Memberships: Mr. Busse is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and is a charter member and past chair of the CBA Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He also served on the Board of Governors of the Northwestern Suburban Bar Association. Mr. Busse has given lectures to the Casualty Adjusters Association on litigation cost containment and has lectured extensively at American Arbitration Association and Chicago Bar Association seminars on underinsured and uninsured motorist arbitration. Education: Mr. Busse received his Juris Doctor in 1951 from The John Marshall Law School. He engaged in post graduate studies in medical legal trial techniques and admiralty law. Admitted to Practice: Mr. Busse is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Trial Bar. |
